Licences
What the map is made of, and what each source asks for in return.
Cartorider is built on open data. Planning a ride and exporting a GPX are free and need no account, and they always will be. The roads, the towns and the places come from OpenStreetMap; the satellite imagery, the terrain and the elevation come from public programmes and open archives. Every one of them is named below with the licence it is used under.
The map archives are files, so the notices travel with them rather than living only here: each archive carries its credit inside its own metadata, and the full text is published beside them in the bucket they are served from. As plain text, if that is what you need.
